BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's basketball recorded the 81-66 Conference Carolinas victory over Emmanuel on Saturday afternoon on the McNair & Debi Tornow Court.
Sandra Mason was recognized as the lone senior as part of Senior Day festivities.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Sydney Gueterman knocked down a three-pointer for the 8-4 lead with 5:10 remaining in the first quarter. Mason pushed the lead ot five points with another three-pointer and Lees-McRae led by seven at the end of the first quarter.
- Charlotte Torgerson moved the Bobcat lead to 16 points on a three-pointer, but Emmanuel got within one point at the end of the second quarter. Lees-McRae led 34-31 after a layup from Kaylee Carson for the first half lead.
- Emmanuel took the lead at 41-40, but Lees-McRae quickly regained the lead at 46-45 and kept the advantage the remainder of the contest. Lees-McRae picked up the 81-66 Conference Carolinas against Emmanuel.
- Nadiya Hairston led the Bobcats with 19 points on 5-8 shooting. Carson followed with 14 points and Gueterman joined her fellow teammates in double-digit scoring with 13 points. Mason finished the contest with nine points, four rebounds, and one steal.
- Lees-McRae shot 45.5% (25-55) from the field with 12 three-pointers and went 19-23 from the free-throw line.
