Megan Knapp and Isaac Reyna Collect Individual Titles on Day Two of Conference Carolinas Indoor Championships

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Megan Knapp and Isaac Reyna led the Lees-McRae men's and women's track & field teams on the final day of the Conference Carolinas Indoor Championships at the JDL Fast Track. Knapp earned the win in the Women's Mile and Reyna placed first in the Men's 3,000 Meters.

LOCATION: JDL Fast Track – Winston-Salem, North Carolina

MEN'S NOTABLES:
  • Reyna continued his strong two-day meet with a first-place finish in the 3,000 Meters with a time of 8:35.47. Josh Brett followed with a third-place finish with a time of 8:37.63.
  • Joshua Ehresman earned a top-five finish and school record in the Men's Shot Put with a throw of 14.60 meters. Ehresman placed fourth individually and Khan Cline registered 10th in the event with a mark of 12.75 meters.
  • Conner Frizzell placed fifth in the Men's 800 Meters with a time of 1:57.64.
  • The men's team placed sixth out of 14 teams with 40 total points. Mount Olive earned the team title with 132.5 total points.

 WOMEN'S NOTABLES:
  • Knapp recorded first in the Mile with a time of 5:10.59. Campbell Dille placed fifth with a time of 5:23.28 and Rebecca Kleiber claimed 10th with a time of 5:35.90.
  • Knapp completed her day in the 3,000 Meters with a time of 10:34.01 and placed third. Dille rounded out the Bobcats in the event with a ninth-place finish and time of 11:00.40.
  • Lora Dillon placed fourth in the Triple Jump with a mark of 11.07 meters.
  • Landri Martinka placed seventh in the 400 Meter finals today with a time of 1:00.61.
  • The women's team rounded out the two-day meet with fourth place in the 4x400 Meter Relay. Keagan Osika, Ellie Cobb, Aija McHone, and Martinka turned in a school record time of 4:04.33.
  • The Lees-McRae women's team placed fourth overall with 54 total points. Mount Olive earned the team title with 230.5 points.

UP NEXT:
Lees-McRae men's and women's track & field teams will look to see if any individuals have qualified for the 2026 Division II National Indoor Championships.
