BELMONT, N.C. – The Lees-McRae softball team returned to the diamond on Tuesday afternoon in a Conference Carolinas doubleheader at Belmont Abbey. The Bobcats fell to the Crusaders in both games on Tuesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Beurrier, Hatley, and Huffines registered hits in the second game of today's doubleheader, but Belmont Abbey earned the 5-0 shutout victory.
- Georgia McConnell went five full innings in the start and allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits and two strikeouts. Haley Littrell pitched in relief and went one inning with two runs (two earned) on 23 pitches.
- Huffines went 1-2 from the plate and one walk.
