MURFREESBORO, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's soccer scored two goals in the second half in the 2-0 victory over Virginia State this afternoon.
Cristiano Leite and
Caden Pierce tallied the goals for the Bobcats.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Andrea Marrazzo had the first chance on goal for the Bobcats in the 11th minute and Conor Hart followed in the 15th minute with a shot on target. Virginia State's goalkeeper kept the score at 0-0 through the first half.
- Leite found the back of the net in the 53rd minute and Pierce pushed the lead to 2-0 with a marker in the 88th minute.
- Jonathan Kienle kept the clean sheet with two saves in goal.
