J.P. Galloway finished with a team-high five points on three goals and two assists, but it was not enough as Barton used a 15-2 run over the span of the second and third quarters en route to clinching a 22-8 win over the Bobcats in the Conference Carolinas contest this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Galloway paced the Bobcats in scoring, while Jake Emm finished with two goals and two assists to go along with two ground balls.
- Tyler Finley chipped in a goal and two assists, with Tyler Flannelly and Ryan Bird also scoring goals for the Bobcats.
- Lees-McRae sprinted out of the gates with two goals by Galloway and Bird in the first five minutes of action to take an early lead.
- Barton scored four of the next five goals to take a 4-3 lead, with the lone Bobcat goal going to Emm off an assist by Finley.
- Galloway scored two final goals in the first quarter to give the Bobcats a 5-4 lead at the first intermission.
- The Bulldogs scored 15 goals over the next 30 minutes of action, with Lees-McRae scoring two goals by Emm and Finley, to grab momentum.
- Flannelly scored his first goal of the game to open the scoring in the fourth quarter, while Barton scored the final three goals to clinch the conference win.
- Antonio Cruz tallied seven goals in net for the Bobcats.
- Barton held a 29-22 edge in shots-on-goal in the contest and finished 4 of 5 on the extra-man opportunity.
FOR THE FOES:
- Mason Chaney tallied a team-high eight goals to pace the Bartons, while Matt Calleri chipped in five assists.
- Nathan Metcalf and Trevor Witholt finished with a combined 14 saves.
