J.P. Galloway,
Ryan Bird, and
J.P. Daniels combined for 15 goals and seven assists, while
Antonio Cruz finished with 13 saves in net, as the Lees-McRae men's lacrosse team scored 14 second-half goals to overcome a first-half deficit and claim a 19-10 win over visiting Emmanuel to clinch a spot in the Conference Carolinas postseason tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Galloway finished with a season-high six goals to go along with three assists and three ground balls, while Bird chipped in five goals, two assists, two ground balls, and two caused turnovers.
- Daniels tallied four goals, two assists, and three ground balls, with Tyler Flannelly, Spence Combs, Tyler Finley, and Jake Emm also scoring for the Bobcats.
- Flannelly, Logan Ryan, and Everett Denny finished with seven, six, and six ground balls respectively, with Brady Ferriter tallying a team-high four caused turnovers.
- Emmanuel sprinted out of the gates and scored six of the first eight goals, with both Lees-McRae goals going to Flannelly and Bird, to take an early lead.
- Daniels and Galloway both scored in the second quarter to trim the deficit to 8-5 at halftime.
- After the Lions pushed the lead to 9-5 on the opening goal of the second half, the Bobcats scored the next 12 goals, with Galloway scoring five goals, Bird and Daniels each scoring twice, Combs, Finley, and Emm all scoring one each, to reclaim a 17-9 lead with 6:42 left in the contest.
- Emmanuel scored one final goal, while both Bird and Daniels scored for the Bobcats in the final three minutes to clinch the conference win for the Bobcats.
- Lees-McRae held a 38-23 edge in shots-on-goal and a 43-33 advantage in ground balls in the contest.
FOR THE FOES:
- Shamaz Durrant and Allan Velasquez scored three goals each to pace the Lions, while Phillip Bell finished with a game-high 19 saves for Emmanuel.
