ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's volleyball traveled to the campus of UNC Asheville where the Bobcats dropped a tough three-set match to the Division opponent up the road.
Madison Goins led the way for the Bobcats with 14 assists as
Annalaine Tew tallied eight kills in the contest.

FINAL SCORE: UNC Asheville def. Lees-McRae, 3-0 (25-18, 25-11, 25-20)

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Madison Goins had a match-high 14 assists to go along with seven digs in three sets for the Bobcats.
- Annalaine Tew collected a season-best eight kills in the contest and Destiny Holley followed with five kills. Hailey Gilreath and Kayla Myers added four kills in the match also.
- Gilreath had 11 digs on the defensive front for Lees-McRae and Bre Adamson kicked in eight digs with three assists in the contest.
FOR THE BULLDOGS:
- Kat Cruser and Makenzi Searcy paced the Bulldogs with nine kills apiece as Ona Elkins and Lindsey Springer each dished out 13 assists on the night.
- Giulia Rodrigues led Asheville on the defensive side with 16 digs in three sets.

The Bobcats continue their season on the road with a trip to Newberry, South Carolina where Lees-McRae will face Newberry College and West Alabama on Friday afternoon
