ANDERSON, S.C. – Lees-McRae men's lacrosse was back in action this evening as the Bobcats played No. 14/15 Anderson on the road. The Trojans picked up the 22-5 victory and
Ryan Bird scored his first two goals of the season for Lees-McRae.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Liam Murphy is now tied for sixth all-time with 23 saves as the freshman goalkeeper made 23 stops tonight against a talented Trojan offense.
- Kevin Murphy tallied the first marker for the Bobcats at 12:17 in the second quarter as Lees-McRae trailed 4-1 in the contest. Anderson recorded eight straight goals to push their lead to 12-1 at 13:28 of the third period.
- Tyler Flannelly stopped the Trojans' scoring run with his first goal of the season at the 12:34 mark of the third quarter.
- Bird registered two goals in the second half for the Bobcats and Ayden Fraelle collected the final goal of the night for Lees-McRae.
- Logan Ryan had five ground ball pickups and one caused turnover and Flannelly hauled in three ground balls for the Bobcats.
FOR THE TROJANS:
- Logan Gaddis led Anderson with four goals on the night and accumulated five points (four goals, one assist). Radyn Badraun and Garrett Hawkins registered hat tricks for the Trojans.
- Cam Weeks paced the Trojans with 10 ground balls and Hunter Klosterman earned the win in net with four saves.
