Cyrus Henderson tallied goals for Lees-McRae men's lacrosse as the Bobcats fell to No. 19 Colorado Mesa 25-2 on Thursday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Colorado Mesa scored the first ten goals of today's contest before Bird got the Bobcats on the board with 3:07 remaining in the first quarter.
- The Mavericks started their three-game road trip to North Carolina with the 25-2 win on Tate Field.
- Henderson joined Bird with the other goal for Lees-McRae and Bird had two caused turnovers on the day.
- Liam Murphy made eight stops in net for the Bobcats while adding three ground balls in 30 minutes of action.
FOR THE MAVERICKS:
- Jed Brummett tallied a game-high six goals for Colorado Mesa in the win and Ethan Points followed with a hat-trick. Five Mavericks had two goals on Thursday afternoon and Dylan Checketts hauled in seven ground balls while going 16-19 from the face-off circle.
- Calvin Doucette registered the win in goal for the Mavericks while stopping two Bobcat shots.
