HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Drew Paxson scored the lone goal of the opening quarter for Barton, but the Bulldogs added five more goals in the second quarter for the 6-0 lead at halftime.
- Henderson got Lees-McRae on the board with his fourth goal of the season at the 13:10 mark of the third quarter. Barton ended the quarter on eight-goal scoring streak for the 15-1 advantage.
- Bird tallied his 11th and 12th goals of the season for Lees-McRae as the Bobcats fell to Barton 21-3 on Saturday.
- Jones Hobgood had seven ground balls on eight faceoff wins for the Bobcats. Hobgood, Henderson, Eddie Patterson, and Logan Ryan had two caused turnovers each in the contest.
FOR THE BULLDOGS:
- Jame Kukucha led the way for Barton with five goals and one assist. Kale Grehan added a hat trick in the win.
- Cole McCarthy, Charles Miller, and Alex Steiss all had three ground balls in the game.
