Garvin Johnson and
Cole Morris led the Bobcats with four goals apiece as Lees-McRae men's lacrosse picked up a 13-12 victory over Alabama Huntsville on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Cyrus Henderson started the game for the Bobcats with a goal at the 13:58 mark and Lees-McRae led 4-0 with 10:36 to play in the first quarter. The Chargers split the deficit after goals from Nate Burt and Pete Fabrizio at the 9:16 mark.
- Lees-McRae and UAH ended the first period with the Bobcats leading 5-3.
- The Chargers took the advantage in the second quarter with four goals, but Johnson collected two goals for Lees-McRae for the 7-7 halftime score.
- UAH jumped out to a 9-7 lead at the start of the third quarter, but Lees-McRae continued to chip away at the lead and trailed 11-10 heading into the final 15 minutes.
- The fourth quarter proved pivotal for the Bobcats as Spence Combs knotted the contest at 11 goals apiece with 5:18 left in regulation. Morris gave the Bobcats the go-ahead lead with a man-up goal at the 2:28 mark. Mark Henderson poured in a goal at the 1:11 mark of the fourth and Lees-McRae earned the 13-12 thrilling victory on Tate Field.
- The win marks the first career win for Head Men's Lacrosse Coach John Grant Jr.
- Johnson went 14-19 from the face-off dot and tallied nine ground balls in addition to his four goals. Morris had a stellar day on attack with four goals and three assists.
- Eddie Patterson made 11 stops in goal and two caused turnovers for the Bobcats in the win.
- Burt, Fabrizio, and Ryan Craig all had two goals for the Chargers and Hunter Coleman picked up six ground balls on the afternoon. Collin Galinski forced four turnovers on the defensive side for UAH.
