Cole Morris recorded the second-most points in program history on Saturday afternoon as Lees-McRae men's lacrosse delivered a 23-4 victory over Davis & Elkins on the campus of Virginia Tech.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bobcats scored the second-most goals in program history on Saturday with 23 and Morris tied Alec Molander for the most goals in a single game by a Bobcat since February 2019.
- Davis & Elkins tallied the opening goal at the 13:31 mark of the first quarter, but the Bobcats rattled off a 11-0 scoring run for the 11-1 lead.
- Lees-McRae recorded five more goals in the second half for the 23-4 victory over the Senators.
- Morris finished the day with eight goals and four assists for 12 points. Spence Combs followed with an impressive six goals and one assist. Mark Henderson had four goals and Dryden Murrell followed with a hat trick on the day. Adam Ross rounded out the Bobcats with two goals.
- Murrell went 21-27 from the face-off on Saturday and collected 14 ground balls in the win.
