BANNER ELK, N.C. – Tusculum outscored Lees-McRae men's lacrosse, 10-4, in the second half and the Pioneers earned the 18-14 win on Tate Field.
Cole Morris recorded a game-high seven goals on Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Kaleb Parkhurst got the Bobcats on the board first at the 13:19 mark of the first quarter. Spence Combs assisted on the play.
- Tusculum answered with three consecutive goals before Parkhurst scored his second behind-the-back goal of the day.
- Lees-McRae took the 5-4 lead off a goal from Morris and the Bobcats led 10-8 at the halftime break.
- Combs extended the Bobcat lead to three goals at the 11:38 mark of the third quarter. The Pioneers scored the next five of the six goals to take the 13-12 advantage.
- Morris knotted the contest at 13 goals apiece, but Tusculum collected four straight goals for the 18-14 win on Tate Field.
- Morris had eight points (seven goals, one assist) on the afternoon. Combs followed with three goals and three assists. Parkhurst joined Combs and Morris with a multi-goal game with two goals.
- Dryden Murrell went 16-31 from the face-off dot with seven ground balls. Eddie Patterson had 10 ground balls and nine saves in goal for the Bobcats.
