GREENVILLE, S.C. – Conference Carolinas released its all-conference softball awards on Thursday morning.
Taylor Beurrier and
Rylee Konowalchuk were named to the All-Conference Carolinas Second Team for their accomplishments on the field.
Beurrier, a junior Outfielder from Stuart, Florida, was tabbed to the second team all-conference after leading the Bobcats in batting average, hits, home runs, total bases, and slugging percentage. Beurrier also notched 14 stolen bases and batted .457 in 24 league contests for Lees-McRae this season. Beurrier ranks sixth in Conference Carolinas play in batting average and collected 32 hits, 17 runs, and 15 RBIs in 24 games.
Konowalchuk, a senior Catcher from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, joined Beurrier on the second team after finishing the season with a batting average of .368 with 39 total hits and 21 RBIs. In Conference Carolinas contests, Konowalchuk had the fifth-highest batting average among student-athletes and registered 28 hits and 13 RBIs.
