GREENVILLE, S.C. – Lees-McRae flag football Sophomore Wide Receiver/Linebacker
Kennedy Vannoy was named the Conference Carolinas Flag Football Defensive Player of the Week.
Vannoy, a Villa Park, Illinois native, tallied 14 tackles, two interceptions, and one pass breakup in wins over Chowan and Emmanuel last week.
Vannoy leads the Bobcats with 42 total tackles this season and recorded five interceptions and five pass breakups in eight games.
The Lees-McRae flag football team heads to Bristol, Tennessee to face King and Wingate on Saturday, March 14 starting at 12:30 p.m.
