BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's volleyball, under first-year head coach
Courtney Weathersbee, announced its upcoming 2026 schedule. The schedule for the Bobcats will feature 11 home matches on the McNair & Debi Tornow Court.
Lees-McRae kicks off the fall season with a pair of tournaments at Fairmont State and at Flagler. The Bobcats will face Anderson, East Stroudsburg, Fairmont State and Bowie State on August 28 and 29. Lees-McRae will then head to St. Augustine, Florida for a round-robin tournament against Valdosta State, Flagler, Maryville, and Saint Leo on September 4 and 5.
Lees-McRae then opens Conference Carolinas play on September 9 against Converse and welcomes Chowan to Banner Elk on September 11. The Bobcats continue their opening three-match homestand on September 12 and host Ferrum on September 15. The Bobcats head to Pembroke, North Carolina to face UNC Pembroke on September 18 and Francis Marion on September 19. The Bobcats conclude September with Homecoming/Family Weekend on September 25 and 26 against Southern Wesleyan and Emmanuel.
Lees-McRae continues in October with matches against Erskine (October 2) and Converse (October 3) before facing North Greenville (October 7) and Mount Olive (October 7) on the road. The Bobcats face Belmont Abbey on October 13 and head to Georgia for contests against Shorter and Young Harris on October 16 and 17. Lees-McRae then travels to Charlotte for a non-conference match at Johnson C. Smith and then the Bobcats travel to Georgia once again to face Emmanuel on Saturday, October 24. The Bobcats host "Battle for the Blue Ridge Cup" foe on Tuesday, October 27 and make the trip to Belmont, North Carolina to face Belmont Abbey on October 31.
Lees-McRae rounds out the 2026 regular season against North Greenville on the McNair & Debi Tornow Court.
The 2026 Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Championship will begin on November 6 and the final two rounds will be hosted by UNC Pembroke on November 14 and 15.
